FAQs

What genres of photography do you shoot?

Everything! I have a serious case of creative FOMO, so I love putting my unique art style into every genre—weddings, portraits, lifestyle, seniors, boudoir, family, branding… you name it. If it can be captured, I’m there with my camera ready.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! While East Texas is home, my cameras have a passport too. I’ve photographed in nearby cities and out-of-state destinations, and I’m always ready for a road trip.

What’s your editing style?

High contrast, true-to-color with a touch of cinematic mood. Think rich greens, deep tones, and warm highlights that make your images feel timeless yet modern.

Can I add video to a regular session?

YES! My video add-on is available for almost any session—just ask! As a hybrid photographer, I can capture both photo and video seamlessly, so you can relive your memories in motion and in stills.

Do you offer prints and albums?

Yes! Your photos deserve to live somewhere besides your phone’s camera roll. I offer gorgeous heirloom albums, wall art, and high-quality prints so your memories can be seen, touched, and loved for years to come.

Can I bring props or personal items?

YES! Whether it’s your cowboy hat, your dog, a guitar, or grandma’s quilt, I love when clients bring personal touches—it makes your session yours.

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s my specialty! I’ll guide you with easy posing, movement prompts, and probably some bad jokes so you can relax and actually enjoy the process.

As a hybrid photo/video creator, how do you stand out?

To keep things budget-friendly, all my packages are built around hiring just one photographer—me! I’ve been perfecting this approach since the early days of my career, back when I was one of the OGs offering hybrid photo + video packages. For the first nine years, I worked independently alongside a well-known event planner, mastering the art of capturing everything without needing a huge crew.

During a session, I’m basically a one-woman production team—two cameras strapped to me, a Polaroid for instant keepsakes, my phone for behind-the-scenes fun, and a few extra cameras staged on tripods for different angles. You still get full coverage, and if your budget allows, we can always bring in additional shooters for even more coverage.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner, the better! My calendar fills up quickly—especially in spring and fall—so booking early means you get your ideal date and time.
